Eden has to be one of the sweetest Havanese you could ever hope to meet! She gets a double dose of that sweet personality from her sire, Sky, Ch. Tejano's Eye of the Storm, NAJ, RN, and her dam, Daisy, Ch. Bydand Upsy Daisy Tejano, ROM. She has a wonderful thick coat that is light, airy and silky to the touch. An adorable face with those typey almond shaped Havanese eyes and a lovely side profile add to Eden's charm. Weighing in at 9 lbs., Eden is on the smaller side of the Havanese standard, without being too fine in bone.
Eden finished her championship title as an adult competing out of the Open Class on the Florida circuit.
As far as her pedigree, Eden has many "famous" Havanese in her background. Her sire is Sky, Ch. Tejano's Eye of the Storm, NAJ, RN. Sky has been in the top 10 Havanese in both breed and all breed points, has qualified twice for the AKC Eukanuba Classic, won an AOM his first year at Westminster and is an all around healthy and beautiful boy!After retiring from conformation, SKy went on to compete in Rally and Agility earning titles in both. He now qualifies to receive the elite Versatility Award presented by the Havanese Club of America to those few Havanese who earn titles in conformation as well as in two other performance/companion events. Eden's dam is our Daisy, Ch. Bydand Upsy Daisy Tejano, ROM who has produced several Havanese champions. Eden shares Daisy's unbeatable personality and is a joy to own!
Just one generation back in Eden's pedigree, you will find a very special stud named Brody (Multi Ch. Elfin Snowhite Startin' Over, ROMX). Brody has had many highlights in his show career. He was the first Havanese to be #1 in both Breed and All Breed points for the year, a record he set in 2000 and which is remained unbroken until 2006! In addition, he has won an award of merit at every National Specialty in which he has competed...a total of 6 AOMs there. Also, he was the Best of Opposite Sex at the Westminster Kennel Club show during the first year that Havanese were eligible for competition and won an AOM the next year. Brody has sired a total of 22 Havanese champions with several others on their way, sired the 
2nd Havanese to receive his MACH title in Agility (and is grandsire to the 1st ever MACH Havanese), sire the #1 Obedience Havanese and #1 Agility Havanese for 2005, and has many other titleholders in Rally, Obedience and Agility.
Pending health testing, Eden will be bred for her first litter in early 2009. A sire has not yet been selected. You can contact us for more information in advance.
