Daisy is one of the sweetest and most outgoing members of the Tejano crew. Daisy finished her AKC championship in style with all major wins. On her first day out as a "special" she took the best of breed win over the #2 ranked Havanese - not a bad way to start out...grin. She went on to win several other Best of Breeds as a special on a very limited basis.

When people meet Daisy for the first time, they are always enchanted. Likewise, Daisy is enchanted with people too and has not yet met anyone she did not like! She is a petite little girl, measuring 9.25" at the withers and weighing just over 9 pounds. She has the silkiest of coats and absolutely loves to give kisses! Daisy is a happy, self confident little girl who knows no limits (at least not yet!). How would I describe her? Adorable...everyone loves Daisy and likewise, she adores everyone she meets!  Of course, we're more than a little prejudiced here!

Daisy has also been a wonderful "mom" to her puppies and they have gone on to their own success as well. Her litter with our Tito (Ch. Tejano's Senor Puente, ROM) resulted in 4 adorable puppies, 2 of whom have gone on to finish their AKC championships. Her only other litter was sired by Multi-Ch. Elfin Snowhite Startin' Over, ROMX - "Brody" and 3 of those 4 puppies have already finished their AKC championships as well. In addition, one of the pups from that litter, York, won Best in Sweepstakes at the 2006 Havanese National Specialty show...quite the honor. Another boy from that litter is just beginning his career as a special out in the Pacific NW. His name is Tucker (Ch. Tejano's S'No Stopping Me Now) and in one of his first outings as a special, he took BOB over the #4 and #5 Havanese. Not a bad start to what will hopefully be a fun career as a special!

Daisy receives her ROM (Register of Merit) title in 2007 in recognition of her record of excellent production in the whelping box. Of course, Daisy always knew her puppies were all just as cute as she is!
